3 Months with Will

Lot's milestones at Camp Metcalf in recent days. Among the more important ones, our little man hit the 3 month mark! He is really becoming his own person. Super chill personality, un-phased by much of the chaos that a 2 year old sister creates around him. At many times throughout the day, he just wants to look at your face and give giant, toothless smiles. It is intoxicating. Unfortunately, his sleeping patterns are less attractive. For a couple weeks he strung together a couple 4-5 hour sessions, but we've quickly regressed back tot he 2-4 hour range. Sweet Jesus we're whooped. Mom is bearing the brunt of it all, being Jr's sole source of nutrients. Dad is trying to figure out more ways to help, but is generally falling short. Still, the nights are slowly mellowing, and Will and becoming an alert, active Camper. He loves to stand up (with help) and look around. He loves to go outside when he's a little cranky, just like his sister did. And he's becoming more and more aware of this older sister who, despite being a mortal threat at any given moment, seems pretty cool. I think he's eager to start playing. We love our big man on campus! Here are a couple pictures from the past month. Keep in mind, there's no substitute for the addicting sounds this little guy makes when he, literally, says goo goo gaa gaa - it just melts your heart.
