It has been too long since our last blog post. Maybe the mountains, big sky, and sunshine has kept us blissfully occupied for many months. Or maybe we have just had a ton of travel and visitors and work. Or all of the above... We have been loving life in the new home. And we have loved showing it off! Our first visitors were Emily and Jon. We realized we took no pictures during their visit (bad sister). They came to our house weeks after we moved in. They witnessed the unpacking and chaos of living in boxes. We did have a little time to xc skiing, enjoy a beer festival and visit all the local bars in Missoula. It was great having them here!
Our next visitors were the Cook's! Emily and Corey came in late June and hit Missoula in the most prefect time. The weather was warm, but not too warm, and the sun sparkled most days. We had a chance to go to Glacier National Park. It was a whirlwind, but the trip was awesome. We stalked a mountain goat and hiked up to waterfalls. Here are some pictures from their visit.

The next set of visitors were Paul and Ben. They came into town to fish the epic rivers of Montana. It was boys only! We traveled to the Missouri, hiked up the North Fork of the Blackfoot and waded down the Bitterroot. The trip was amazing. At one point there was an incredible thunderstorm that came through at Browns Lake. We were on the lake fishing and had to row quickly to shore. We waited it out in the car. Ben has some really cool video footage showing the lightening. Here are some of our favorite pictures from the trip.

For labor day we had Ma and Pa Covelli in! As any good parent would do, they ooohed and aaahed our home. It was awesome to show them the house. The day after they arrived we packed up the jeep and headed to Jellystone National Park. JC has never seen a bison up close and personal! We had epic wildlife viewing opportunities. When we returned home, we had a list of tasks to get done around the house. Most importantly, adding a door to the number 2 room. Alex and JC made quick work of it! We are eternally grateful for the help. Here are some of our favorite pictures.
