Spring love

We have emerged from our cozy blankets and darkness to the light and flowers of spring.  The warm weather has brought new adventures with our family.

Will and Mom took a trip to Connecticut to meet Uncle Luke, Auntie Em, and Uncle Jimmy.  We celebrated Auntie Em by throwing her a bridal shower.  The event was beautiful and the bride was glowing.  But the best part of the trip was when Will met his Great Grandma.  The precious moment would mark the end of Grandma's beautiful life. We love her and will miss her dearly.

Our other travels have been more local lately; heading to the farmers market and neighborhood parks while exploring new modes of transportation (i.e. stroller, bike, and foot).  Charlie is fearless, independent, and full of life.  She has a magnetic personality and all of the other kids are drawn to her glow.  Will is certainly going to learn from Charlie and we are pretty certain she is going to get the two of them into all sorts of trouble.  Here are some family pictures.

Sweetness

5 Months with Will

This month has been filled with many firsts!  Will is rolling over both ways and feeling more comfortable on his belly.  He is learning to use his hands more and can grasp almost anything.  His bond with his sister is growing and he loves to laugh and smile at all her silliness.  Will is even learning to sleep better on his own giving us 5-6 hours stretches.  He is very agreeable; often just chills on his play-mat and watches the world go by.  But his best feature by far are his sweet smiles.  He laughs and smiles at everything.  Here are some of our favorite pictures from this month.
