And we fish! (finally...)

So, we're going to get out of chronological order here... After returning from Germany, we've had a summer chock-a-bloc full of visitors and many great trips, moments, and experiences!

Completing the visitor circuit was Benny, in from PA off a fresh fly fishing competition in CO. We had to work the first few days he was in town, but managed to slip away in the later afternoons for some fishing on the Clark Fork here in town. Fishing was really good the first few nights and crazy good the third day. A few photos...
Clark Fork Rainbow
Smokey Sunset
That was a good spot...
No shirt, no shoes, no problem
The clouds rolled in on day three and the fish took the opportunity to EAT! Perple nerple killed!
Huge Pikeminnow (squawfish)

Wednesday night we headed to Brown's Lake and, as is now tradition, got caught in a monster thunderstorm. Unlike last year, however, the storm broke in time for us to fish the lake for a while.
The next two days were spent on the Blackfoot and while the fishing wasn't as hot as it had been on the Clark Fork, it was pretty damn good. The cutties cooperated nicely!
Libby strikes again!
The Torpedo!
Ben joins T's ritual.
That's all folks! Until next time.
Classes start tomorrow, so I'm sure there will be plenty of procrastination time to help get us back up to date on all the summers' goings on!
